Same drive to lead.
Same KODAK FLEXCEL Solutions shaping the future of the flexo industry.
Seven years ago Flexoprint Ltd. from Skopje, the leading Macedonian flexible packaging manufacturer, invested in flexo CtP system Kodak Flexcel NX. This created not only new possibilities on the regional market, but also opportunities for export to EU countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Hungary.
Kodak Flexcel NX ensures a significant increase in print quality, decreases production costs and has an overall positive effect on clients’ trust. This investment has managed to give Flexoprint Ltd. a great reputation as well as greater business results and total profits.
The Kodak Flexcel NX system was installed and is being maintained by the Grafik.net Ltd. company from Zagreb, which is active on the Macedonian market for over ten years. Grafik.net is the regional representative for Kodak CtP systems, and offers its clients comprehensive printing system solutions, expert consulting, implementation of standardization in print production and ensures reliable repair services.
The owner of the Flexoprint company Mr. Vlado Veljanovski pointed out for us the main reasons and results of this investment.
TECHKON´s compact spectral-densitometer SpectroDens is recognised by many users for its easy handling and intuitive operability in color measurement.
Not only in Europe, but worldwide, many users rely on the modern measurement device, which – as its name suggests – combines the capabilities of a highly accurate spectophotometer and an easy-to-use densitometer, making it an attractive device for most printing houses.
Company Alkaloid started the project of improving the printed pharmacy packaging two years ago in cooperation with company Grafik.net from Zagreb and Mr. Dean Tolp as the project manager. Through consulting and research, a new packaging development department has been set up, whose connection with the Quality Control Division has provided very high standards for quality, safety and packaging control.
Bato&Divajn Ltd. company from Skopje is the leader on Macedonian offset printing market. They have been in business for over 26 years, and with their groundbreaking products they attract attention from both regional clients and those from Western Europe.
The expansion of the production program into the segment of cardboard packaging (primarily for pharmaceutical, medical, food&beverage and cosmetic industries) along with frequent visits to major Western European fairs have brought significant increase in export and new demands for quality, optimization and standardization in production.
At the end of 2018 Bato&Divajn Ltd. was certified according to the FOGRA Institute PSO standard (Process Standard Offset), making it the first printing house in Macedonia and one of the 260 printing houses in the world, which certified its production process according to this standard.
The Grafik.net Ltd. company from Zagreb took over the role of training employees, installing equipment and introducing necessary standards. Project was lead by Mr. Dean Tolp, the only FOGRA PSO and FOGRA PSD partner in Croatia with five certified and recertified offset printing houses in the Adria-Balkan region.
In the interview with key people from Bato&Divajn Ltd. management, prepress, press and quality control segments, we determined the main purpose and the advantages of this certification.
